Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 ea sweet onion, chopped
- 32 oz marinara
- 16 oz whole milk ricotta
- 1 ea egg, beaten
- 1 C Parmigiano, grated
- 1/4 C fresh basil, chopped
- 2 pkgs (24 oz) frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 C mozzarella, shredded
Instructions
- Season and fry the meat and onions, then add the marinara sauce.
- Mix together the ricotta, egg, 1/4 C Parmigiano, and half the basil, Season to taste.
- Coat the bottom of a buttered caserole with meat sauce, then create multiple layers of ravioli, cheese mixture, and sauce, ending with cheese mixture. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking until golden and bubbly.
- Remove from heat, garnish with the remaining basil, and serve hot.
